Module 3: Biblical Worldview & Marriage — Introduction
In a world of shifting cultural values and theological confusion, it is vital for every believer to understand God’s design for life, work, marriage, leadership, and the church through the lens of Scripture. This module explores how Christians are called to live with a biblically grounded worldview that reflects God’s truth in every sphere of life.
We begin by examining the theology of work, understanding that our vocation is not just a job, but a divine calling to serve, create, and reflect God’s character. We then look into the spiritual gifts given by the Holy Spirit, helping believers discern their place in the body of Christ and walk effectively in their calling.
The module further addresses complex and often controversial questions related to marriage—especially second marriages, divorce, and their moral and spiritual implications. Rather than relying on denominational opinions, we anchor every discussion in Scripture, seeking to rightly divide the Word of truth. This includes questions such as: Does God honor second marriages? Can one be condemned for being married to a divorced person? How does grace, truth, and repentance intersect in such relationships?
We also tackle the subject of women in leadership, seeking clarity from Scripture alone rather than cultural or institutional preferences. Lastly, we explore how to identify a biblically sound church—not based on denomination or popularity, but on faithfulness to God’s Word and the presence of spiritual fruit.
By the end of this module, students will be equipped with scriptural understanding to navigate critical life and church issues with wisdom, conviction, and compassion.
