About Course

Christ-centered effectiveness in the workplace arises from solid theological grounding, transformed character, and practical skills for vocational ministry. This six-module discipleship course weaves together foundational doctrine, spiritual disciplines, marketplace integration, leadership development, and ethics—drawing on established curricula (Growing Deep & Strong’s foundational modules, Ministry in the Marketplace Institute’s training, Desiring God’s principles of “knowing, being, doing” —to equip believers not only to stand firm in Christ but to influence their professions for His purposes.

Module 1: Foundations of Faith
This foundational module grounds believers in the core realities of new life in Christ and equips them to stand firm on Scripture, understand God’s kingdom, embrace their identity in Him, and repel deception through truth. In Lesson 1.1 we explore regeneration—being born again—and practice assurance of salvation through personal testimony. Lesson 1.2 unpacks the Bible’s inspiration, inerrancy, and sufficiency, then guides participants through an inductive study method. Lesson 1.3 examines the “already/not yet” tension of God’s kingdom and maps kingdom versus worldly values. Lesson 1.4 delves into our identity and adoption in Christ, with journaling prompts to internalize new reality. Finally, Lesson 1.5 shows how to combat spiritual deception (2 Cor 11:3–4) and gives practical steps for memorizing and meditating on Colossians 2:6–7. Together these lessons establish a bedrock of biblical truth and spiritual formation for marketplace impact.

Module 2: Spiritual Disciplines & Character
Module 2, Spiritual Disciplines & Character, immerses participants in five core practices—prayer, worship & thanksgiving, integrity of speech, the fruit of the Spirit, and fasting & solitude—grounding each in biblical teaching, historical wisdom, and contemporary application. Drawing on classic resources and peer‑reviewed insights, this module equips believers to cultivate inner transformation and outward godliness. Each lesson blends theological exposition, real‑world case studies, guided exercises, and vocational integration so that Christ‑followers not only practice these disciplines personally but also manifest them in workplace contexts for sustainable character growth and marketplace witness.

Module 3: Biblical Worldview, Marriage & Ecclesial Discernment
3.1 Theology of Work & Vocation Revisit the sacredness of daily labor (Gen 1–2; Eph 2:10) to anchor later ethical and relational topics. 3.2 Calling & Giftings Survey spiritual gifts (Rom 12; 1 Cor 12)—preparing for lessons on marriage roles and church service. 3.3 Does God Honor Second Marriages? Explore Bible teachings on divorce, annulment, and remarriage. 3.4 Eternal Destiny & Marriage to a Divorced Spouse Address fears about “going to hell” when married to someone divorced. Scripture affirms salvation by faith, not marital status (John 3:16; 1 Cor 15:1–4). Divorce itself—even remarriage after divorce—is not the unforgivable sin; only unbelief excludes from heaven 3.5 Denominational Discernment: Finding a Faithful Church

Module 4: Marketplace Leadership & Ecclesial Authority
Module 4 builds on our foundations of faith and character to equip you for leadership that reflects Christ’s authority and servanthood. In this module you will learn how Jesus redefined power by serving (John 13:1–17), how Christian communities balance mutual submission with divinely delegated authority (Eph 5:21; Heb 13:17), how to restore relationships through Jesus’ Matthew 18 process, and how to establish ethical governance grounded in justice and mercy (Micah 6:8; Prov 11:3). Each lesson combines biblical exegesis, historical insight, and hands‑on exercises so you can lead teams, congregations, or organizations in ways that honor God and build trust

Module 5: Business Ethics & Governance
Module 5 examines how Christians can faithfully conduct business through ethical decision‑making, financial stewardship, corporate governance, and social impact initiatives. We begin by grounding business ethics in Scripture—showing that honesty, justice, and mercy are divine imperatives (Micah 6:8; Prov 11:1). We then explore how to apply these morals in marketing and sales by auditing real ads for integrity and truthfulness (Matt 5:37). Next, we delve into financial stewardship through the parables of the talents and biblical stewardship principles, designing internal controls that reflect faithfulness (1 Cor 4:2). We follow with corporate governance—defining board roles, accountability structures, and transparency best practices that mirror biblical justice and mercy (Micah 6:8; Prov 11:3). Finally, we develop strategic social impact initiatives—integrating shared‑value frameworks (Porter & Kramer) with CSR rooted in “loving your neighbor” (Lev 19:18). Each section includes exercises to embed these principles in real‑world contexts.
